If you're new to social networking here are a few top tips to help you make the most of the site:

Please replace the automatically generated avatar with either an image of yourself or something that reflects your personality as soon as possible after joining the site. Members are much more likely to visit your page and request friendship if they can see a picture.

Visit other members and welcome them to the site using their Comment Wall. You can also add comment images using outside sites.

Read members Profiles and click Add to Friends if you think you share things in common.

If members start blogs and you enjoy a particular post, add a comment and then click the Share button underneath the post and choose who from your friends list you would like to share it with.

Participate in the forums, start your own discussions, join groups and start threads off!

Tell all your mother friends about the site and invite them to join up! Plus, don't forget to add our site badge to your MySpace, Bebo, Facebook and other network pages, websites and blogs ;)

Don't forget to regularly check your mailbox and Friend invites - using the little icons in the very top left hand corner of your page!

Personalise your page - change your background, add music, photos and videos!

Most of all, please keep this network friendly. (If anyone upsets you or you think they're not who they say they are, please report them immediately and I'll check them out. They will be banned from the network completely and criminal proceedings may ensue if they have been offensive or hurtful in any way. This includes impersonation, posting unsavoury images, videos or comments either on your page or in any of the groups or forums.)
