Making Money Online: So you want to try your hand at making money online?

You're probably visiting this page because you've searched for ways to make money online. There seem to be lots of people claiming to make a good living from income they make from their websites... but how do they do it?

Take it from one who knows; it isn't easy and takes a lot of determination, time and effort. But all is not lost; from my own experience with my first website, www.BreastfeedingMums.com, I know it is very possible to make a fairly decent income - so long as you are prepared for a long hard slog!

I'm going to share some of my experiences with you and hopefully you'll learn that with time and patience it can be done.

Getting Started

There are many decisions you need to make very early on and there are lots of things you'll need to learn along the way. But if I can do it, you can do it too!

My background was teaching. I had limited experience with computers although I often researched my lessons online and certainly got lots of very useful teaching resources. However, when I decided to start a website I had absolutely no inkling of how much work would be involved or how much I would have to learn along the way.

The following tips are vital to the success of any website; I only wish I'd known them when I first started!
